Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert mental health services, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care for patients across diverse age groups. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Experience working with children and hospital settings is highly valued, along with strong skills in patient care and medical terminology.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness while managing potential side effects.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including data collection related to treatment progress.
Provide counseling or psychotherapy sessions as needed, especially for pediatric patients or those in hospital environments.
Stay current with advancements in psychiatric practices and incorporate evidence-based methods into patient care.
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management.

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid licensure to practice psychiatry.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to mental health.
Demonstrated ability in patient care, including compassionate communication and ethical practice.
Excellent diagnostic skills combined with the ability to develop effective treatment strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to healthcare regulations and standards.

Pay: $150.00-$200.00 per hour
