Professional Services You'll Provide
- Provide counselling services to children, teens, young adults, and parents
- Conduct informed consent discussions, intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing care consistent with professional standards.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and practice requirements.
- Incorporate parent-inclusive and family-centred approaches whenever clinically appropriate.
- Manage all aspects of client care, including professional communication, appointment follow-up, care coordination, and collaboration with other professionals when appropriate and authorized.
- Monitor and support client engagement, continuity of care, and therapeutic progress throughout the counselling process.
- Complete invoicing and administrative tasks accurately and within established timelines.
- Engage in consultation, peer support, and professional development opportunities to support high-quality client care and ongoing clinical growth.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and evidence-informed standards of practice.
- Utilize practice systems and resources to support high-quality client care, professional accountability, and sustainable private practice growth.
Qualifications
- Registered Psychotherapist, Psychological Associate, or Registered Social Worker in good standing with your regulatory college
- Professional liability insurance and general liability insurance
- Experience providing psychotherapy to children, teens, parents, and families
- Training in Interpersonal Neurobiology, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, Attachment-Based Approaches, or related approaches is considered an asset.
- Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Compensation
This is a commission-based independent contractor opportunity. Contractors receive 60% of session fees. The hourly compensation range listed in this posting reflects an estimated equivalent hourly earnings range based on an active caseload and the time typically invested in both direct client care and associated practice activities.
