Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental office operations, and proficiency with electronic medical records systems. The Dental Receptionist will play a vital role in managing appointments, patient inquiries, and administrative tasks to support the efficient functioning of our dental team.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and check them in upon arrival
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Dentrix and other scheduling software
Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries and appointment requests
Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
Collect payments and process billing using Epic or similar systems
Maintain organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
Assist with front desk administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns professionally and efficiently

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental or medical office setting preferred
Strong knowledge of office experience, including multi-line phone systems and front desk procedures
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
Knowledge of dental office workflows and medical terminology is highly desirable
Previous experience with Office experience or Medical office experience is a plus

Nous recherchons une réceptionniste dentaire professionnelle, organisée et dynamique pour se joindre à notre clinique dentaire. La personne idéale sera le premier point de contact des patients, assurant une expérience fluide, chaleureuse et accueillante. Ce poste requiert d’excellentes compétences en communication, une bonne connaissance du fonctionnement d’un cabinet dentaire ainsi qu’une aisance avec les systèmes de dossiers médicaux électroniques. La réceptionniste dentaire jouera un rôle clé dans la gestion des rendez-vous, des demandes des patients et des tâches administratives, afin de soutenir le bon fonctionnement de l’équipe dentaire.

Responsabilités

Accueillir chaleureusement les patients et les enregistrer à leur arrivée
Planifier, confirmer et reprogrammer les rendez-vous des patients à l’aide de Dentrix et d’autres logiciels de gestion des horaires
Gérer un système téléphonique à lignes multiples pour répondre aux appels, aux questions des patients et aux demandes de rendez-vous
Vérifier les informations d’assurance des patients et mettre à jour les dossiers médicaux électroniques avec précision
Encaisser les paiements et effectuer la facturation à l’aide d’Epic ou de systèmes similaires
Tenir les dossiers des patients de façon organisée, dans le respect des normes de confidentialité
Effectuer diverses tâches administratives à la réception : classement, saisie de données, correspondance
Collaborer avec l’équipe clinique afin d’assurer le bon déroulement des opérations quotidiennes
Offrir un service à la clientèle exceptionnel en répondant aux préoccupations des patients de manière professionnelle et efficace

Qualifications

Expérience préalable comme réceptionniste dentaire ou dans un environnement médical ou dentaire (un atout important)
Bonne connaissance du travail de bureau, incluant la gestion de lignes téléphoniques multiples et les procédures d’accueil
Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et grand souci du détail
Capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément dans un environnement dynamique et rapide
Excellentes habiletés en communication et attitude chaleureuse
Bonne connaissance du fonctionnement d’une clinique dentaire et de la terminologie médicale (fortement souhaitée)
Expérience antérieure en milieu de bureau ou médical (un atout)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 25 per week
