Responsabilités principales

Examiner la feuille d’affectation des chambres et en discuter avec le superviseur de l’entretien ménager en début de quart de travail
Appliquer les procédures et standards de l’hôtel pour le nettoyage et la préparation des chambres
Changer le linge dans les chambres assignées conformément aux politiques établies
S’assurer que tous les équipements de la chambre sont en place et fonctionnels
Signaler rapidement tout risque lié à la sécurité ou à l’entretien au superviseur
Remettre tous les objets trouvés au bureau de l’entretien ménager ou a un gestionaire sur place.
Maintenir le chariot de ménage entièrement approvisionné et en bon état de fonctionnement
Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe confiée par le responsable de l’entretien ménager

Exigences :

- Un an d'expérience requise ; nous formerons les candidats individuellement.

Connaissances/compétences/expérience :

- Diplôme de fin d'études secondaires de préférence, mais une combinaison d'expérience et de formation sera prise en considération.

- Les exigences physiques comprennent la capacité de soulever, pousser et tirer un minimum de 40 livres, de rester debout et/ou de marcher pendant une période prolongée, la capacité de se baisser, de s'agenouiller et d'atteindre, ou d'effectuer des mouvements répétitifs des pieds, des mains et des bras. Capacité de se pencher à la taille.

- Capacité avérée à travailler dans un environnement d'équipe rapide et multitâches.

- Capacité à travailler selon un horaire flexible, y compris les week-ends et les jours fériés.

Key Responsibilities

Review the room assignment sheet and discuss it with the Housekeeping Supervisor at the start of each shift
Follow hotel procedures and standards for cleaning and preparing guest rooms
Change bed linens in assigned guest rooms in accordance with established policies and procedures
Ensure all room amenities and equipment are in place and functioning properly
Promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor
Submit all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office or to a Manager on duty.
Ensure the housekeeping cart is fully stocked and that all supplies and equipment are in good working condition
Perform any other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Manager

Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year experience required; individual training will be provided
Ability to follow instructions accurately
Ability to interact with others with sensitivity, tact, diplomacy, and professionalism at all times
Professional appearance and demeanor

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

High school diploma preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Physical requirements include the ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 40 lbs, stand and/or walk for extended periods, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements involving the feet, hands, and arms, including bending at the waist
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking team environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

In accordance with local legislation, priority will be given to candidates who are legally authorized to work in Canada and who are fluent in both French and English, written and spoken.
