Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and organized Part-time Secretary to join our dynamic dental team! This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to support daily administrative operations, enhance office efficiency, and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong computer and organizational skills. This position is perfect for someone looking to contribute to a professional environment while enjoying flexible hours and meaningful work.

Duties

Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
Perform data entry tasks accurately
Handle filing, document proofreading, and organization of office supplies to ensure smooth office operations
Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously via phone or email
Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing and expense tracking using QuickBooks
Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing correspondence
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while ensuring all clerical tasks are completed efficiently

Requirements

Proven clerical or administrative experience in an office setting, preferably in a medical or dental environment
Strong computer skills
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and proofreading
Demonstrated ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
Experience with filing systems, front desk operations, and customer service excellence
Ability to perform typing tasks efficiently while maintaining high accuracy levels
Knowledge of medical or dental office procedures is a plus but not required; training will be provided for relevant software or processes
