Description de poste – Infirmière auxiliaire

Résumé du poste

Sous la supervision du directeur Général, l’infirmière auxiliaire travaille en collaboration avec les médecins et les infirmières praticiennes spécialisées (IPS) pour offrir des soins aux patients de la clinique. Elle assure un soutien clinique et administratif en respectant les protocoles en vigueur et en contribuant à l’efficacité des services de santé.

Responsabilités principales

Travail : 5 jours par semaine, incluant 2 soirs par semaine ainsi qu’une fin de semaine sur 3.

Soins aux patients

Accueillir et préparer les patients pour les consultations médicales et les procédures.
Prendre les signes vitaux (tension artérielle, température, fréquence cardiaque, etc.).
Assister les médecins et les IPS lors des examens et interventions mineures.
Administrer certains traitements prescrits (vaccins, médicaments par voie orale ou topique, pansements, etc.).
Effectuer des prélèvements sanguins et autres tests diagnostiques selon les protocoles.
Assurer le suivi des dossiers médicaux et transmettre les informations pertinentes à l’équipe soignante.

Collaboration et gestion

Travailler en étroite collaboration avec directeur médicale pour assurer le bon fonctionnement des soins infirmiers.
Appliquer les directives du directeur médicale en matière de protocoles, d’hygiène et de sécurité.
Contribuer à la gestion des stocks de fournitures médicales et signaler les besoins en approvisionnement.
Respecter les procédures internes de la clinique et participer à l’amélioration des processus de soins.

Éducation et prévention

Informer les patients sur leur état de santé et les traitements recommandés.
Fournir des conseils en prévention et en promotion de la santé.
Assurer un suivi des patients selon les recommandations des médecins, IPS

Job Description – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works collaboratively with physicians and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to provide high-quality patient care within the clinic. The LPN is responsible for both clinical and administrative support duties while adhering to established protocols and contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare services.

Main Responsibilities

Schedule

Full-time position.
Five days per week.
Includes two evening shifts per week.
Includes one weekend out of every three weekends.

Patient Care

Welcome and prepare patients for medical consultations and procedures.
Obtain and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.).
Assist physicians and Nurse Practitioners during examinations and minor procedures.
Administer prescribed treatments, including vaccinations, oral or topical medications, dressings, and other authorized interventions.
Perform blood draws and other diagnostic tests in accordance with established protocols.
Maintain and update medical records while communicating relevant patient information to the healthcare team.

Collaboration and Operations

Work closely with the Medical Director to ensure the smooth operation of nursing services.
Follow directives established by the Medical Director regarding clinical protocols, infection prevention, hygiene, and patient safety.
Assist with the management of medical supplies and report inventory and purchasing needs.
Adhere to clinic policies and procedures and actively participate in the continuous improvement of patient care processes.

Patient Education and Prevention

Educate patients regarding their health conditions and recommended treatments.
Provide guidance on health promotion and disease prevention.
Ensure appropriate patient follow-up according to the recommendations of physicians and Nurse Practitioners.

Rémunération : 26,78$ à 28,41$ par heure
