Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Your expertise in cake decorating, food preparation, and baking will be essential in creating visually stunning and delicious treats. Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation
Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications and presentation standards
Follow food safety protocols and handle ingredients responsibly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
Assist with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling baked items efficiently
Package baked goods carefully for display or takeout orders while maintaining product quality and appearance
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely production of all pastry items during service hours
Maintain a clean, organized workstation adhering to food handling regulations and sanitation standards

Experience

Proven experience working in a restaurant or bakery environment with a focus on pastry or dessert preparation
Skilled in cake decorating techniques and food presentation methods
Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and kitchen sanitation procedures
Hands-on experience with baking, food preparation, and packaging of baked goods
Strong customer service skills to understand guest preferences and deliver exceptional service
Previous kitchen experience within the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued
