Mat Pilates Instructor – Kitty Pilates

As a Mat Pilates Instructor at Kitty Pilates, you’ll guide participants through mindful, effective movement experiences that connect body and breath while cultivating strength, balance, and focus. This role blends traditional Pilates techniques with the calming, therapeutic energy of our studio’s signature environment — where wellness meets serenity.

What You’ll Do

Lead safe, motivating Mat Pilates sessions designed for various fitness levels, ensuring inclusivity and proper technique.
Ensure all classes are conducted in a calm, controlled manner that maintains a safe and comfortable environment for both participants and cats.
Develop creative class formats that blend classical and contemporary Pilates principles.
Offer hands-on corrections and modifications to enhance form, prevent injury, and optimize results.
Foster a supportive and relaxing studio atmosphere that aligns with Kitty Pilates’ focus on mindfulness and community.
Collaborate with other wellness instructors and contribute to special events such as restorative yoga or meditation workshops.
Educate clients on posture, breathing, and alignment to improve their everyday mobility and well-being.
Promote upcoming classes, workshops, and wellness experiences to help clients continue their Pilates journey.

Basic Qualifications

Recognized Certification in Mat Pilates.
Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and functional movement.
Experience leading group fitness or Pilates sessions.
Excellent communication and observation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in yoga, barre, or functional fitness.
Experience teaching in studios.
Interest in holistic health, body awareness, and mindfulness practices.
