Votre rôle au sein de Provent HCE

Relevant du superviseur de production, le Ferblantier / Opérateur de presse plieuse participe à la fabrication de composantes de ventilation commerciale en métal en feuille. Vous serez responsable du pliage, de la mise en forme et de l’assemblage de pièces selon les plans et les standards de qualité établis.

Responsabilités principales

Lire et interpréter les plans, dessins techniques et bons de travail;
Effectuer le réglage et l’opération de la presse plieuse (Brake);
Réaliser le pliage de pièces en métal en feuille selon les spécifications;
Vérifier les dimensions et la conformité des pièces produites;
Effectuer diverses opérations de fabrication et d’assemblage de composantes;
Utiliser les outils et équipements de production de façon sécuritaire;
Maintenir un environnement de travail propre et organisé;
Collaborer avec les autres membres de l’équipe afin d’assurer l’efficacité des opérations;
Respecter les normes de santé et sécurité au travail.

Compétences et qualifications recherchées

Expérience comme opérateur de presse plieuse ou en transformation de métal en feuille;
Expérience en ferblanterie manufacturière (atout important);
Capacité à lire et interpréter des plans techniques;
Bonne maîtrise des instruments de mesure;
Souci du détail, précision et rigueur;
Bonne condition physique;
Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et en équipe;
Fiabilité et sens des responsabilités;
La maîtrise du français afin de pouvoir communiquer à l’interne est requise;
L’anglais est considéré comme un atout.

Your Role at Provent HCE

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Sheet Metal Worker / Press Brake Operator plays a key role in the manufacturing of commercial ventilation components. You will be responsible for bending, forming, and fabricating sheet metal parts according to engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders;
Set up and operate press brake equipment safely and efficiently;
Bend and form sheet metal components according to specifications;
Verify dimensions and quality of finished parts;
Perform various fabrication and assembly operations;
Safely operate production tools and equipment;
Maintain a clean and organized work area;
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes;
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience operating a press brake or working in sheet metal fabrication;
Manufacturing sheet metal experience is considered a strong asset;
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints;
Proficiency with measuring instruments and tools;
Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
Good physical condition;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Reliable, responsible, and quality-focused;
French language proficiency is required for internal communication;
English is considered an asset.
