Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Cleaner to join our team, providing exceptional cleaning services to private homes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly environment where quality and customer satisfaction are prioritized. Candidates with experience in residential cleaning and hospitality are encouraged to apply. Fluency in English is required; French language skills are a plus. The position involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within clients' homes, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
Manage laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
Prepare and assist with light cooking or meal preparation as needed
Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment for efficient workflow
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences
Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled appointments
Maintain a high level of organization to ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards
Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals

Qualifications

Proven experience in residential cleaning or related hospitality roles is preferred
Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities
Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus
Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly
Basic cooking skills are desirable but not mandatory
Experience with laundry services is advantageous
Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
Reliable transportation or access to transportation to reach client locations
