Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, craft quality beverages, and ensure excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where hospitality and attentiveness are valued. The Bartender will be responsible for mixing drinks, serving customers, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area, all while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
Use POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
Take orders from customers, provide menu recommendations, and serve food and drinks promptly
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
Manage multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining high-quality customer service
Assist in restocking supplies and monitoring inventory levels
Engage with guests to create a positive dining experience through excellent customer service skills

Skills

Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy hours
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and measuring ingredients accurately
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest experience
Experience with food service operations, including serving beverages and food handling

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
