TOMCO Production Services Ltd. is looking for experienced Heat Treatment Technicians.

TOMCO Production Services Ltd. is a privately held Alberta based company that has been operating for 24 years. We have the newest and largest fleet of mobile heat treatment equipment in Western Canada. If you are looking for a solid career with an industry leader, then join our team today! You must possess a clean driving abstract, H2S Alive, CSTS and First Aid. You will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. Due to the volume of applications received, only those selected for interviews will be contacted.

TOMCO Production Services Ltd. provides the following specialty services to our clients:

Post Weld Heat Treatment
Pre Heating
Bake outs
Cold Cutting and Beveling
Hydraulic Torquing, Tensioning and Nut Splitting
Hydro Testing
Coring
Hot and Cold Taps
Flange Facing and Portable Milling

Responsibilities and Duties

The ability to work independently on-site
Good communication skills
Customer focused
Strong safety awareness and discipline
Set up and monitor electric Pre Heating and PWHT
Ability to assist in the set up and monitoring of gas PWHT
PWHT technicians need good eyesight, and the ability to concentrate over long periods
Good understanding of English and Mathematics is required as work involves controlling heating / cooling rates, compiling written reports, working with figures (time v temperature rates)
