Rusty's Grille & Lounge
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food preparation and presentation. The Kitchen Supervisor plays a vital role in fostering a positive team atmosphere while ensuring efficient and smooth kitchen operations.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and servers
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area
Assist with training new staff members and provide ongoing coaching to team members
Monitor food service operations to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent customer experience
Enforce health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment
Collaborate with management on menu planning, special events, and operational improvements
Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to uphold service standards

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management
Supervising experience within a food service or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food industry trends, and restaurant workflows
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Food handling certification or relevant training
