Location: LL Dam – Highland Valley Copper Mine
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm
Compensation: $34.37/hr with Union IUOE 115 benefits package after meeting hours requirement
Union & Benefits: Employees will be hired as Union Members and benefits provided under International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 115 upon signing up and paying admission fees

Position Overview:
Cantex Mining Services is seeking a reliable and hardworking Janitor to help keep our facilities clean, safe, and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Clean offices, lunchrooms, washrooms, and common areas.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as required.
- Restock cleaning and washroom supplies.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals.
Requirements:
- Reliable and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
- Familiar with safety cleaning chemicals SDS sheets.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment D & A test.
- Capable of driving a full-size company pickup to Ashcroft for water runs.
