Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Stir <PERSON>. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, delivering high-quality food and exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and providing excellent food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred, along with a strong commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook stir-fry dishes according to established recipes and customer specifications.
Maintain consistency in taste, appearance, and quality of food.
Manage the Teppanyaki Grill Station efficiently, ensuring proper heat control and cooking techniques.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking ingredients as needed.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations. Engage with customers in open kitchen settings, demonstrating cooking techniques and responding to questions.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation during and after shifts.
Work with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service.
Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them in placing orders.
Answer questions about the menu, promotions, or combo options.
Handle customer inquiries professionally and escalate issues to the manager if needed.

Skills

Experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
Basic cooking skills, particularly in frying techniques and meal preparation.
A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing kitchen demands.
