Full job description

Join us in Advancing the Environmental Global Impact within the Rail Industry

For nearly 40 years, ZTR has designed, developed and released products that have a positive environmental impact within the Rail Industry. Planning for an environmentally sustainable future means taking action today in preparation for tomorrow. Everyone has a role to play and we take ours seriously.

This role is a full-time (40 hours per week) & contract position with hours of work being 7AM to 3:30PM, Monday - Friday, and is a 12 month contract.

As the Production Assembler, you will:

Use hand tools for box assembly of electronics and electrical control systems
Manufacturing and assembly of cable and wire harnesses
Crimping and wiring
Labelling and packaging of finished products
Small amount of computer work for testing and timesheet recording
Various other tasks as required

Who are you?

Previous hands on assembly experience is an asset
Strong manual dexterity with the ability to pay attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer literacy

The expected hourly wage for this position is $20/hour CDN.

The hourly rate is determined through comprehensive market research and considers factors including qualifications, skills, education, relevant experience, work location, internal equity, and alignment with local and industry market data. Permanent Full time employees may also be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including Employer RRSP matching. The hourly rate listed in job posting are subject to change.
