Apprentice Carpenter (Residential Renovations)

We're looking for an Apprentice Carpenter who takes pride in their work, wants to learn, and is committed to becoming a skilled tradesperson.
What You'll Do
You'll work alongside the owner and independently on a variety of residential renovation projects, including:
- Demolition and site preparation
- Framing and structural carpentry
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Trim, doors, and finish carpentry
- Flooring installation
- Cabinet installation
- General renovation tasks
- Job site setup, protection, and cleanup
- Loading, unloading, and organizing tools and materials
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Is registered as a carpenter apprentice or is interested in pursuing an apprenticeship
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Shows up on time and is dependable
- Pays close attention to detail
- Takes pride in producing quality work
- Can follow instructions and asks questions when unsure
- Takes ownership of mistakes and learns from them
- Wants to continue learning and improving every day
- Is respectful when working in clients' homes
- Has a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
What Success Looks Like
This isn't just about building things—it's about building trust.
Before calling a task complete, we expect you to ask yourself:
- Is the work done properly?
- Is the area clean?
- Are the tools cleaned and put away?
- Have I protected the client's home?
- Would I be proud to show this work to the homeowner?
As your skills and consistency improve, you'll be given more responsibility and greater independence.
