About the Role

The Technical Support Specialist provides full technical support to all corporate users for in-office and remote software packages. The tasks are diverse and wide ranging, and come with responsibility for administration of many packages. If you are a motivated, self-starter with good self-organizing skills this could be an exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the following key areas:

Providing internal technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and security.
Administering and managing Voices’ Google Workspace, MDM, Zero-Trust and office network systems.
Assist HR with onboarding and offboarding tasks, related to hardware and software.
Manage the process of procuring hardware and software resources for new and existing employees.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who brings some or all of the following:

A degree or diploma in computer science or information technology
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role
Prior experience in tech support, helpdesk support, or a similar role
Proficiency in Windows and/or MacOS
Required to be in the office for a minimum of 3 days/week
Requires occasional after hours work to resolve urgent requests or to perform network maintenance

Hybrid Work Details: We are a hybrid workplace, allowing employees to work remotely from home. However, this position requires three in-office days per week to support the office network, and to handle hardware delivered to the office. Our office is located at 100 Dundas Street, London, Ontario. Additionally, you may be asked to come into the office as needed with reasonable notice.

Compensation

Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000

A typical hire for this role generally falls between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on skills, experience, qualifications and internal equity. Employees grow through the range based on performance and demonstrated competencies.
