Overview

Join the team at Elira Pilates, a boutique Pilates and wellness studio in London, Ontario. We are currently hiring passionate, energetic, and professional instructors to join our growing community.

We are looking for Certified Reformer Pilates Instructors, Certified Mat Pilates Instructors, and Certified Yoga Instructors who are confident leading group classes and creating an encouraging, welcoming environment for clients of all experience levels.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours, with opportunities to grow alongside Elira Pilates as we continue to expand our classes, programming, and community.

Duties

Lead engaging and professionally instructed Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, and/or Yoga classes, depending on your certifications.
Demonstrate proper form, technique, alignment, and safe equipment use.
Provide modifications and progressions to accommodate beginner, intermediate, and advanced clients.
Create thoughtful, effective class programming that is challenging, engaging, and aligned with Elira Pilates standards.
Motivate clients while maintaining a positive, inclusive, and supportive class environment.
Get to know our members and help create the strong sense of community that Elira Pilates is built around.
Monitor clients throughout class and prioritize proper technique and injury prevention.
Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled classes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio and reset equipment following each class.
Support and promote Elira Pilates classes, events, workshops, and community initiatives.
Provide an elevated client experience from the moment members enter the studio until they leave.

Experience & Qualifications

Current certification in Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, and/or Yoga is required for the classes you will be teaching.
Previous group fitness or studio teaching experience is an asset.
Strong understanding of anatomy, movement, proper alignment, and exercise safety.
Confident, engaging, and comfortable leading groups.
Ability to provide modifications and progressions for different fitness levels and abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, professional, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team.
Passionate about Pilates, movement, health, wellness, and helping others feel their best.
Willingness to continue learning and growing as an instructor.
