Job Overview

Join the vibrant team at City Pizza as a Team Associate, where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry, with responsibilities spanning food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety. Whether you're experienced in restaurant service or eager to learn, this role provides a dynamic environment to develop your skills and contribute to a beloved local establishment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble food items according to company recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing orders and payments.
Handle cash transactions with precision, providing excellent customer service during busy hours.
Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about menu items, and upsell additional products to enhance their experience.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage time effectively to ensure orders are prepared promptly during peak hours.
Restock supplies as needed and assist in kitchen tasks such as food handling and basic food prep.
Uphold high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene throughout all duties.

Skills

Prior food service experience preferred; familiarity with restaurant operations is a plus.
Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation protocols.
Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and restaurant operations.
Experience in food industry roles such as serving or cashiering is advantageous for success in this position.
