Jones Healthcare Group – Where Innovation Meets Purpose!
Why this Role Matters
The Finance Business Analyst ensures our pricing, profitability, and production decisions are grounded in accurate, trusted data.
This role transforms financial and operational data from static reports into predictive, decision-driving tools.
This role enables leaders to identify inefficiencies, manage constraints, and drive profitable growth with confidence.
As a Finance Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in helping the Company make smarter operational and financial decisions. You’ll be responsible for the integrity of our business performance models and ERP data, ensuring pricing, profitability, and production decisions are built on accurate, trusted information. By partnering with Information & Business Technology (IBT) and Operations, you’ll help modernize our analytical capabilities through data, automation, and predictive modelling to support informed business decisions.
What You’ll Be Accountable For:
- Business Performance & Quoting Enablement: Design and optimize data‑driven quoting and pricing models that integrate material costs, production data, and operational constraints to improve accuracy, speed, and profitability.
- Data Governance & ERP Integrity: Own the accuracy and lifecycle management of ERP master data, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), semi-finished goods (SFGs), and tooling records. Use data auditing and automation approaches to maintain reliable, decision-ready information.
- Automated Performance & Variance Analysis: Develop automated performance dashboards and variance analyses that identify margin risks, pricing gaps, and cost drivers to support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and leadership decision-making.
- Strategic Modeling & Pricing Infrastructure: Build and enhance scalable, financial and production models using SQL and Power BI. Transform manual spreadsheet-based processes into more efficient, centralized solutions that support profitability analysis and business decision‑making.
- Data-Led Operational & Investment Modeling: Develop predictive and scenario‑based models to evaluate capacity constraints, ROI opportunities, and capital investment decisions.
- Systems Collaboration & Analytics Transformation: Act as a key contributor to FP&A’s data strategy by partnering with IBT and Operations to modernize data capabilities, improve analytical tools, and implement scalable solutions that shift analytics away from legacy, manual processes.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Print Graphics Management, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, supply chain finance, Fp&A, finance transformation, or related analytical role with exposure to multi-stage production environments and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, including manufacturing cost accounting, costing methodologies, variance analysis, and margin drivers.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) to manage and analyze master data, pricing, and production records.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes by automating or digitizing manual workflows using data and analytics tools.
- Advanced data and analytics skills, including Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, data modeling), SQL (querying relational data), and Power BI (DAX and building self-service dashboard development).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear insights and recommendations for business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- A systems-thinking mindset with the ability to understand how data flows through business processes and impacts financial outcomes.
