BARISTA - WEEKENDS ONLY

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This role offers an engaging environment for individuals passionate about the food industry, with opportunities to develop skills in food preparation, cash handling, and customer interaction. The position requires a positive attitude, strong time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards.
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly service.
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment sanitation and food safety practices.
Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality.
Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and address any questions or concerns professionally.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience is required.
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.
Experience in the food industry or food service environment is desirable.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Good time management skills to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy hours.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work well within a team environment.

Créer une atmosphère accueillante pour les clients et répondre à leurs questions ou préoccupations de manière professionnelle.

Qualifications

Expérience préalable comme barista obligatoire.
Connaissance des systèmes de point de vente (POS), particulièrement Micros POS, un atout.
Expérience dans le domaine de la restauration ou du service alimentaire souhaitée.
Excellentes aptitudes en service à la clientèle et attitude chaleureuse.
Bonnes compétences en calcul de base pour les transactions, la monnaie et les commandes.
Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches simultanément dans un environnement rapide tout en portant attention aux détails.
