Job Summary

We are seeking waiters with over 10 years of experience working in a steakhouse to join our vibrant team where staff enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this seasoned role, you’ll be the friendly face guiding patrons through their meal journey, ensuring exceptional service from start to finish. Your energy and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming atmosphere, making every guest feel valued and important. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring timely and correct delivery
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
Manage multiple tables through effective time management, ensuring prompt service without sacrificing quality
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all service areas, adhering to food safety regulations and restaurant hygiene standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery, ensuring guest satisfaction at every step

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a restaurant is required
Familiarity with POS systems is a must
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle requests professionally
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and upselling opportunities
Experience in the food industry or restaurant serving roles will help you excel in this energetic position
