For its Buildings, Parks, and Public Spaces Service, the City of Laval is looking for a: Joint Installer

STATUS: Temporary

JOB POSTING NUMBER: 3658

SALARY: Class 6 – 35.21$

SCHEDULE: DAY; MONDAY to THURSDAY - 07:30 to 17:00

WORK LOCATION: Operational Management of Buildings, Parks, and Public Spaces, 1489 CUNARD STREET DOOR 1, GROUND FLOOR A/S OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT OF BUILDINGS, PARKS, AND PUBLIC SPACES (2) LAVAL H7S 2H8 (see map below)

The challenges that await you

Perform various tasks involving the repair of plaster surfaces and the finishing of drywall joints.

Requirements

Hold a journeyman competency certificate (CCQ) as a plasterer;
Hold a class 5 driver's license compliant with the Quebec Automobile Insurance Corporation;
Have training in construction site safety (SST);
Have two (2) years of relevant experience for the position.

Overtime paid at time and a half or double time, depending on applicable provisions;
