Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Flooring Installer to join our team. This role involves installing various types of flooring in commercial settings, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in flooring installation, tile laying, and related construction skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Duties

Measure and prepare surfaces for flooring installation according to project specifications.
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install flooring materials such as tile, hardwood, vinyl, or carpet.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise installation.
Perform floor leveling, subfloor preparation, and surface repairs as needed.
Lay tiles, laminate, or other flooring materials with accuracy and attention to detail.
Apply caulking, sealants, or adhesives to secure flooring components.
Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople such as carpenters or handymen for seamless execution.
Maintain a clean work area and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in flooring installation, tile laying, or related construction work.
Proficiency with hand tools, caulking equipment, and basic carpentry skills.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various tasks.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
Prior experience with blueprint reading and surface preparation is preferred. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-profile commercial projects while honing your craftsmanship in a dynamic work environment.
