Job Title: Casual On-Call Security Officers (Event & Site Security)
Company: Mountain Eagle Security, Frontline Security, Westridge Security

We are dedicated to supporting our clients and communities by providing safe, secure, and professional environments. We achieve this through proactive prevention, strong communication, and rapid response. Our team works in partnership with clients, local authorities, and community stakeholders to ensure the protection of people, property, and assets.

We are currently hiring casual on-call Security Officers, primarily for event security assignments, with occasional opportunities for static site coverage. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, professionalism, and reliability will be considered for future full-time positions within the organization. Please note that although the ad is posted for Maple Ridge, our office location, we are seeking candidates throughout British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-visibility security presence at events and assigned locations
Conduct foot and vehicle patrols as required
Ensure the safety of guests, staff, and the general public
Monitor and control access points
Respond to incidents including theft, trespassing, vandalism, disturbances, and emergencies
Complete detailed written and verbal incident reports
Enforce client site rules and security protocols
Communicate effectively with supervisors, law enforcement, fire, and medical personnel when required
Assist in managing crowd control and event flow when applicable
Respond to alarms and ensure sites are secure before clearing

Qualifications

Valid BC Security Worker Licence (required)
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with clean driving abstract (Only where driving is required for the role)
Previous security or customer service experience considered an asset
Occupational First Aid (OFA Level 1, 2, or 3), AST, or additional certifications are an asset
Strong communication skills (written and verbal English)
Ability to remain standing/walking for extended periods
Professional appearance, attitude, and strong customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
