Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook with knowledge of Indian Cuisine to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and cooking, with a strong focus on food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting menu items according to established standards, ensuring efficiency and consistency in every dish served.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following recipes and presentation standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including equipment and utensils
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Serve dishes promptly and accurately to guests or servers in a timely manner
Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to uphold restaurant standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety compliance

Qualifications

Previous experience in Indian food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
Experience with meal preparation and serving in the food industry is advantageous
Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service principles is a plus
