Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the field of electrical within residential and commercial settings. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to develop essential skills under the guidance of experienced electricians, contributing to various electrical projects. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with renovations, new builds, upgrades, troubleshooting and more
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, and other electrical tasks
- Help with the setup and organization of job sites
- Learn to troubleshoot electrical issues using established procedures under supervision
- Subject to physically demanding work, confined spaces and heights
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, and low voltage/data systems is a plus
- Must have basic personal hand and power tools to use on the job (drills, screwdrivers, pliers, etc...). List will be provided of what employee is expected to have
- Prior experience in construction electrician work or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Must be at least 18 years old and willing to participate in on-the-job training
- Must have a drivers license and personal vehicle to get to job sites, opportunity for work vehicle once fully licensed
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $17.84-$22.31 per hour
