Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a dynamic environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. The position requires a strong focus on food safety, efficient service, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Use Squirrel POS systems for order entry and processing transactions efficiently.
Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and provide recommendations when needed.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations.
Manage multiple tables and bar stations simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service.
Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with food service when required.
Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred.
Proficiency with POS systems such as Squirrel POS for efficient order processing.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests promptly.
Hospitality-oriented attitude with a personable demeanor that enhances guest experience.
