Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with medical or dental offices, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office is highly desirable. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner at the front desk
Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Google Workspace or similar tools
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Google applications
Handle filing, document management, and organization of office supplies
Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and basic administrative tasks as needed
Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and effectively
Proofread correspondence and documents for accuracy before distribution
Support medical or dental office operations by managing patient records and appointment confirmations
Maintain a clean, organized reception area to promote a professional environment

Qualifications

Proven clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a medical or dental office setting
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry software
Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, proofreading, and scheduling tasks
Ability to handle customer service interactions professionally and courteously
Strong typing skills for efficient data entry and correspondence management
Prior experience in front desk roles or administrative support is preferred
Knowledge of medical or dental office procedures is advantageous but not required
