Registered EMDR Social Worker/Counsellor/Psychotherapist

Licensed Therapist/Psychotherapist Opportunity | $99-114/hr | Flexible Schedule & Supportive Team

About Orion Wellness

Orion Wellness is a private practice in downtown Winnipeg providing mental health therapy and counselling services to individuals, couples, and families.

We support clients navigating:

Anxiety and stress
Trauma and EMDR work
Relationship and marriage challenges
Grief and life transitions

Our approach is grounded in thoughtful, client-centered therapy, with a strong focus on connection, depth, and meaningful outcomes.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced EMDR-trained mental health clinician who is confident in their clinical work and passionate about supporting clients through trauma, anxiety, and other complex life experiences.

This role is ideal for a therapist who:

Has completed EMDRIA-approved Basic Training in EMDR
Has a strong clinical foundation providing individual therapy
Is comfortable integrating EMDR with other evidence-based and talk therapy approaches
Values autonomy, flexibility, and a sustainable caseload
Wants to focus on thoughtful, quality care rather than high-volume pressure
Enjoys being part of a collaborative team while maintaining independence in their clinical work
If interested, future opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and supervision of Master’s-level practicum students (additional compensation provided)

What We Offer

$99–$114 per clinical hour
Consistent referrals → build and maintain a full caseload
Flexible schedule (daytime, evening, and weekends)
In-person and virtual therapy model
Full administrative support (billing, scheduling, client communication)
Consultation, mentorship, and ongoing training opportunities

What You’ll Be Doing

Provide mental health therapy and counselling services to individuals, couples, and families
Support clients through a variety of mental health issues
Use your clinical judgment and experience to guide treatment
Collaborate with a team that values consultation and shared learning

What You’ll Bring

Registration in good standing with a relevant governing body
Master’s degree in Counselling, Social Work, or related field
Experience providing therapy/counselling
Training in EMDR therapy
Strong ability to work independently with confidence and structure
Comfort using Jane App and Google Workspace (training available)
