Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Tattoo Artist and/or Piercer, where creativity meets precision in a dynamic and welcoming environment. This role offers the opportunity to craft stunning body art and perform professional piercing services while providing exceptional guest experiences. We are looking for passionate, detail-oriented individuals who thrive on artistic expression, uphold strict sanitation standards, and excel in delivering outstanding customer service. Whether you specialize in tattooing, piercing, or both, your skills will contribute to creating memorable transformations for our clients. This paid position is ideal for talented artists eager to showcase their craft and grow within a supportive environment within our Tattoo/Piercing division & space.

Duties

Perform high-quality tattooing and/or body piercing procedures following all health and safety regulations
Consult with clients to understand their vision, offer design suggestions, and ensure satisfaction with the final artwork or piercing
Maintain a clean and sterile workspace by adhering to rigorous sanitation protocols before, during, and after each service
Educate clients on aftercare procedures to ensure proper healing and long-lasting results
Manage appointment scheduling, walk-in clients, and maintain an organized front desk presence
Promote additional services such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, or nail care to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Conduct product demos and upsell relevant merchandise like aftercare products or jewelry to maximize revenue opportunities

Experience

Proven experience as a tattoo artist, piercer, or both with a strong portfolio showcasing your artistic talent and technical skill
Knowledge of sanitation standards mandated by health authorities for body art procedures
Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with clients and explain procedures clearly
Previous experience in customer service roles within retail, hospitality, or beauty environments is highly desirable
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently at the front desk while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
Familiarity with retail sales techniques including upselling and product recommendations
Certification or training in body piercing techniques is preferred; tattooing certifications are a plus

Please note that compensation can be structured as an hourly rate or an agreed-upon contract, with various options available based on the artist’s experience, expertise, and knowledge.
