Full job description

The Opportunity

Ladderworld has been serving Winnipeg contractors since 1990. We supply scaffolding, ladders, access equipment and related products to construction, industrial and commercial customers.

We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to grow our sales and rental business and expand our commercial and industrial customer base.

This is a hands-on outside sales and business development role for someone who enjoys meeting customers, building relationships, identifying opportunities and turning them into business.

What You Will Do

Identify and develop new sales and rental opportunities.
Build relationships with contractors, industrial facilities, maintenance operations and other commercial customers.
Research prospective customers, projects and market activity to identify potential business.
Proactively contact prospects, arrange meetings and visit customers and job sites.
Follow opportunities through and turn them into sales and rental business.
Prepare and follow up on quotations and rental proposals.
Grow business and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
Work closely with our customer service and operations team to support customers.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with initiative, curiosity and the drive to develop new business.

Are interested in learning technical products and how customers use them.
Work well with a customer service and operations team.
Have a valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for customer and job-site visits.

Experience in scaffolding, equipment rental, construction, industrial products, building materials, trade supply or a related field would be an asset.

We welcome candidates with relevant experience from related industries.

Success means building strong customer relationships, developing new opportunities and generating sales and rental business.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the territory and proactively develops new business.

$65,000–$75,000 annual salary
