Dans le but de soutenir notre croissance et nos opérations, nous sommes présentement à la recherche d’un(e) Chef Comptable

Ce poste est poste HYBRIDE (3 jours obligatoires en présentiel)

Poste permanent temps plein, 40h par semaine

Principales responsabilités:

Cycle comptable et fermeture de mois

Effectuer et coordonner la fermeture comptable mensuelle;
Effectuer les écritures de journal nécessaires : régularisations, provisions, amortissements, charges courues, etc.;
Effectuer les conciliations bancaires;
S’assurer de l’exactitude et de l’intégralité des transactions comptables;
Effectuer une analyse légère des balances de vérification;

Supervision d’équipe

Superviser et coordonner le travail d’une petite équipe de 2 à 3 personnes;
Participer à l’amélioration des méthodes de travail et à l’optimisation des processus comptables;

Fiscalité et conformité

Effectuer les remises de taxes gouvernementales et autres obligations comptables;
Collaborer avec les comptables externes lors de la préparation des dossiers de fin d’année;

Autres responsabilités

Participer à l’amélioration continue des processus et outils comptables;
Assurer le respect des politiques et procédures internes;
Participer à la facturation;

Profil recherché

Bilinguisme essentiel (français et anglais). Dois être en mesure de lire, parler et écrire en français et en anglais;
Formation en comptabilité, administration ou domaine connexe;
Expérience pertinente en comptabilité, idéalement dans un environnement comportant plusieurs volets comptables;
Bonne compréhension du cycle comptable complet et des processus de fermeture mensuelle;
Capacité à analyser une balance de vérification et à identifier les écarts ou anomalies;
Expérience en supervision ou coordination d’une petite équipe, un atout;
Rigueur, autonomie et souci du détail;
Bonne capacité d’organisation et de gestion des priorités;
Maîtrise des logiciels comptables et d’Excel;

In order to support our growth and operations, we are currently looking for a LEAD ACCOUNTANT

This is a HYBRID position (3 mandatory days in the office)

Permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week

Main Responsibilities:

Accounting Cycle and Month-End Closing

Perform and coordinate the monthly accounting close;
Post the necessary journal entries: accruals, provisions, depreciation, accrued expenses, etc;
Perform bank reconciliations;
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting transactions;
Conduct a brief analysis of trial balances;

Team Supervision

Supervise and coordinate the work of a small team of 2 to 3 people;
Help improve work methods and optimize accounting processes;

Taxation and Compliance

File government tax returns and fulfill other accounting obligations;
Collaborate with external accountants during the preparation of year-end financial statements;

Other Responsibilities

Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and tools;
Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures;
Assist with invoicing;

Desired Qualifications

Bilingualism is essential (French and English). Must be able to read, speak, and write in French and English;
Education in accounting, administration, or a related field;
Relevant experience in accounting, ideally in an environment with multiple accounting functions;
Good understanding of the full accounting cycle and monthly closing processes;
Ability to analyze a trial balance and identify discrepancies or anomalies;
Experience supervising or coordinating a small team is a plus;
Diligence, independence, and attention to detail;
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities;
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel;
