Full job description

The Accounts Payable Clerk is an entry level position that is responsible for the timely processing of high volume transactions in the accounts payable functions with a high level of detail and accuracy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain vendor files in an organized and concise manner
Enter and review Accounts Payable entries; investigate and resolve any discrepancies
Manage all correspondence in regard to A/P in a timely and courteous manner
Ensure invoices are properly approved and supported by appropriate documentation
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records
Prepare ad hoc reports for management upon request
Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year working experience in a similar role
Experience in hospitality industry is preferred
College certifite in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
Proven knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
Previous working experience with accounting software
Must have excellent time management, communication and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to work well within a team or alone with minimal supervision
Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure
Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Note: salary will be dependant on experience.
