Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated ESL and IELTS Tutor to support students in achieving their language proficiency goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong teaching skills, classroom experience, and the ability to create engaging learning environments. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and professional journeys by providing tailored instruction in English language skills and IELTS exam preparation.

Duties

Speaking fluently English and Chinese Mandarin
Develop customized lesson plans that address students’ specific language learning needs and goals
Prepare students for IELTS exams through practice tests, strategies, and skill-building exercises
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement
Incorporate writing skills development into lessons, focusing on clarity, coherence, and accuracy
Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere that fosters student confidence
Track attendance, participation, and performance data to ensure effective learning outcomes
Stay updated on the latest ESL teaching methodologies and IELTS exam formats to enhance instructional quality

Experience

Prior tutoring or teaching experience, particularly in ESL or IELTS preparation, is highly desirable
Classroom teaching experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to manage diverse learner needs
Strong writing skills to assist students in developing their written English proficiency
Proven ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to different learning styles
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of varying ages and backgrounds
