Full job description

Temperature Corporation is an established, Markham based, manufacturer of industrial chillers and complete chilling systems. With over 40 years of experience supplying chilling systems and industrial chillers to a wide variety in industrial processes and production machinery applications, our team continually strives to provide the best solutions to our customers.

We are currently looking for a skilled PLC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

Creating functional programs for HVAC equipment using Schneider controls.
Maintaining and troubleshooting systems to ensure optimal performance.
Identifying deficiencies within the programs and ensure modifications to resolve any issues are made.
Working closely with, and maintaining strong working relationships with customers, technicians and office staff to resolve problems.
Identifying areas for continuous improvement and supporting production and company goals.

Required skills include:

Demonstrated working experience programming Schneider PLC controllers (model M172) using structured text.
Experience with HMI - VIJEO designer is considered an asset.
A degree or diploma in a related field.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to prioritize work projects to a deadline.
Strong team player.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Customer service focus to provide solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner.
