Job Overview
Markham CoCo Bubble Tea is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated full-time and part-time Tearista/Barista team members to join our vibrant beverage shop. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, creating delicious bubble tea drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced food industry setting, where teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail are essential.

Duties

Prepare a variety of bubble tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Provide friendly and efficient customer service, engaging with customers to ensure satisfaction
Handle food preparation tasks such as ingredient assembly, topping addition, and drink customization
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas
Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Serve customers promptly while managing multiple orders during busy periods
Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues during shifts

Qualifications

Previous barista experience or familiarity with the food industry is preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous
Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required
