Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Aide-cuisinier to join our culinary team. This role involves supporting food preparation, cooking, and service in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent hygiene practices, and a desire to develop their skills within the food industry. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in restaurant and food service operations while contributing to the creation of delicious meals for our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
Support cooking activities, ensuring quality and presentation of dishes
Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene standards during all stages of food handling
Serve food to customers or staff in a courteous and efficient manner
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and ingredients as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals during busy periods

Experience

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic meal preparation techniques is advantageous
Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness and safety is beneficial
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role

Rémunération : 16,60$ à 17,00$ par heure
