What You’ll Do

At Island Health, Combined Laboratory/X-Ray Technologists work closely with interdisciplinary teams in fast-paced healthcare environments where their expertise, accuracy, and collaboration directly support real-time clinical decisions every day. Your responsibilities and duties include:

receiving and completing requisitions, forms and reports
monitoring patients
performing general imaging procedures, as qualified, including archiving acquired images
carrying out routine Laboratory and ECG testing, as qualified
utilizing computerized patient data systems
preparing and monitoring supplies and equipment.

What You Will Need to Apply

Graduation from a recognized combined Laboratory/ Medical Radiography Technician Program.
One year of recent, related experience (or equivalent).
