Overview

Join our vibrant bakery team as a Bakery Clerk and Cake Decorator, where your creativity and passion for baking will shine! In this dynamic role, you will bring joy to our customers by preparing delicious baked goods, expertly decorating cakes, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and other bakery items, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety
Decorate cakes and desserts with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications and enhance visual appeal
Assist customers with selections, answer questions about products, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service to foster a positive shopping experience
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and packaging guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of the bakery area, including equipment, work surfaces, and storage spaces, adhering to food safety regulations
Restock display cases with fresh baked goods and ensure proper product presentation to attract customers
Support the kitchen team with food preparation tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience

Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for baking and decorating is essential
Skills in cake decorating, food preparation, and general kitchen work are highly valued
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling techniques in the food industry is a plus
Experience in customer service roles within restaurants or retail settings will help you excel in engaging with customers effectively
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is necessary
