OVERVIEW:

Do you want to learn the basics of running a successful team and have fun doing it? Reporting to the General Manager, the Manager is responsible for assisting with the overall supervising activities of staff, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation, providing friendly and efficient guest service, and completion of occasional administrative duties according to company policy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure that excellent levels of service are being delivered to the guests during service.
Ensure that all equipment used is in safe working order, checked regularly and any faults are reported to management, while ensuring equipment is not used until safe.
Action guest concerns and compliments by praising staff and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
Comply with all Boston Pizza policies and procedures and rules and regulations.
Shift management in support of management team.
Running food and performing table-side service during busy periods to support your serving team.
Assist the General Manager or Assistant General Manager with all aspects of restaurant operations.
Other duties as required.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1-2 years supervisor/manager role, with BP experience is an asset
3-5 years restaurant/bar experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
Strong analytical/decision-making skills.
A positive and team-oriented attitude.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong initiative.
You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods.
Must be able to work flexible hours during, evening, weekends and holidays.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
