Full job description

Securitas Canada Limited is one of Canada's largest providers of security services and a leader within our industry. We provide Integrated Guarding, Remote Guarding, Mobile Guarding, Onsite Guarding, Investigative Services and Technology Services.

We are seeking highly motivated security personnel for positions within a physical security environment specializing in the protection of multiple clients based in Peel and Halton Hills region. You will have experience within an industrial environment within a warehouse or distribution center or a similar sector where you are responsible for protecting assets. You have strong customer service acumen with ability to resolve issues with a diverse background of individuals including visitors, truck drivers, contractors and client employees. You are able to perform internal and external patrols in cold and hot conditions.

This position is for a 2 Full time vacancies.

Position Overview:

Location: Milton

Available Shift Times: Days, Afternoons, Overnights and Weekends

Payrate: $18.35 to 19.00

Candidates with vehicle will be preferred. Candidates need to have Full G driver's license.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform access control provision duties, verify visitor badges and employee badges.
Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons.
Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
Perform foot patrols inside the building on multiple floors and outside the building at Ground level.
Tech savvy, working on multiple systems.
Assist client employees with inquiries

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Ontario Security License.
Valid First Aid and CPR Certification.

Experience working in shelter home, health care preferred.
Team player and outstanding customer service abilities
Must be available to work various shifts based on business needs.
Must have corporate or concierge experience.
