We’re looking for a dependable and safety-driven Shunt Truck Driver to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for both yard trailer movement and securing flatbed loads—playing a key part in keeping operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a shunt truck to move trailers safely and efficiently within the yard
Spot trailers at docks and designated locations as directed by dispatch or yard management
Inspect trailers before and after movement to ensure safe operation
Secure loads on flatbed trailers using straps, chains, binders, and tarps as required
Verify load stability and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Assist with yard organization and maintain clear traffic flow
Communicate effectively with dispatch, drivers, and warehouse staff

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license (AZ/DZ considered an asset)
Previous experience operating a shunt truck or similar equipment preferred
Experience with flatbed load securement (chains, straps, tarping) is required
Strong understanding of load securement regulations and safety practices
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Physically capable of lifting, bending, and securing loads
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
