Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our organization. This role is responsible for coordinating dispatch activities, maintain clear communication with customers and drivers and supporting safe, efficient freight movement in a fast-paced environment. This role will interact with customers and respond to all inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner. The dispatcher will work in conjunction with the rest of the dispatch team as well as with other departments in the organization.

Responsibilities and Duties

Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and service excellence across all operational activities.
Serve as the primary liaison between customers and drivers.
Plan and manage employee and Owner Operator schedules to meet service commitments.
Coordinate equipment to meet daily operational requirements and work closely with fleet maintenance to address equipment deficiencies.
Monitor driver and Owner Operator activities to support safe and efficient daily operations.
Develop a thorough understanding of the TMW System, PeopleNet satellite tracking, and other applicable applications.
Enter all ACE and ACI manifests based on dispatch planning and driver confirmations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

Liquid tanker experience
Experience with petroleum products
Strong geographical knowledge of GTA logistics
Knowledgeable about Hours-of-Service regulations
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Highly organized with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Ability to understand and interpret instructions
Computer skills (TMW System experience an asset)

Education & Experience

High School Diploma (minimum)
Post-secondary education in Dispatch/Logistics (or equivalent work experience)
3-5 years of experience

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
