Hours of Operation:
Monday 9:00 - 6:00
Tuesday 9:00 - 6:00
Wednesday 9:00 - 6:00
Thursday 11:00 - 7:00
Friday 9:00 - 6:00
Saturday 10:00 - 2:00

Position Summary

Trio Medical Centre is seeking a professional, organized, and patient-focused Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our growing healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting physicians, patients, and clinic operations while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner.
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
Manage physician schedules and appointment calendars.
Register new patients and update patient demographic information.
Scan, upload, and maintain patient records and documentation.
Process referrals, requisitions, and incoming correspondence.
Coordinate communication between patients, physicians, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all privacy regulations.
Assist with clinic administrative tasks and general office duties as required.
Ensure waiting and reception areas remain organized and professional.

Software & Technical Requirements

Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMRs), Microsoft Office, email, and online scheduling systems.
Strong computer and data-entry skills.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting preferred.
Medical Office Administration diploma or equivalent experience is an asset.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach.

Language Requirements

Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written) are mandatory.
Additional languages are considered an asset.

Skills & Competencies

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Professional telephone etiquette.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
