Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a line cook. This role involves providing exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving others, experience in food preparation, and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in the food industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
Handle food with care, maintaining proper hygiene and safety protocols
Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Restock supplies as needed to ensure continuous operation

Skills

Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
Knowledge of food handling practices and safety standards in the food industry
Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety regulations
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Basic culinary skills with an eagerness to learn new techniques and recipes

Must be available to work from 7am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday

You will be responsible for morning shifts on Saturday and Sunday for our brunch menu, other hours available throughout the week.

This role is perfect for individuals passionate about the food industry who are eager to develop their culinary skills while providing excellent service. We value professionalism, attention to detail, and a positive attitude in our team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 35.0 per week
