Job Summary:

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Manual & CNC Machinist to join a well-established and growing manufacturing team. This role involves operating and setting up conventional machining equipment while supporting the transition to modern CNC technology. The ideal candidate has strong manual machining experience and is eager to develop CNC skills, including setup and programming. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability, career growth, and hands-on involvement in a modernizing shop focused on precision and quality.

Location: Maple Ridge, BC
Salary: $35–$42.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shift

What You Bring

Certification: Red Seal Journeyperson (or registered apprentice at any level)
Experience: Strong manual machining skills required; CNC experience is an asset
Mindset: Willingness to learn and grow into CNC machining
Reliability: Seeking long-term, stable employment
Communication: Strong English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, drills, and saws
Assist with CNC machine setup, operation, and programming
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Perform quality checks to ensure precision and standards are maintained
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided)
