Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Tutor/Grader to support educational programs and assist in student learning. This role involves providing academic assistance, grading assignments, and supporting classroom activities to ensure a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong communication skills, and experience working with children or in classroom settings.

Responsibilities

Assist lead tutors or teachers in delivering instructional activities and supporting student engagement
Grade assignments, tests, and homework accurately and efficiently
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to reinforce learning concepts
Support classroom management and organization during lessons and activities
Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents regarding student progress and needs
Help prepare educational materials and resources for classroom use
Maintain a positive and encouraging environment that fosters student confidence and motivation

Requirements

Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children is preferred
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and educators
Classroom experience or familiarity with educational settings is advantageous
Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team
Organized, responsible, and attentive to detail in grading and instructional support tasks
Passion for education and helping students succeed
Must be able to commit to scheduled hours during school or after-school programs

Pay: $16.60-$17.60 per hour

Work Location: In person
