Full job description

Starsky Fine Foods is seeking a Full- Time Baker Helper for its Mississauga East location, located at 2040 Dundas Street East..

The Baker Helper position is responsible for preparing a variety of Eastern European and domestic bread types, rolls, buns, and other bread products.

The Baker Helper position is also responsible for production count, inventory maintenance, and safety and sanitation of the baking processes and the bakery equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performing light baking of daily production of baked goods
Stocking baked goods displays to ensure product is always available
Providing outstanding customer service
Keeping track of daily production and waste log
Ensure quality of products meets established standards.
Ensuring proper cleaning and sanitization standards are being followed
Ensure that bakery equipment is cleaned and maintained in accordance with the company’s requirements.
Ensure quality of products meets established standards.
Other duties as assigned by management to meet business needs.
Other tasks assigned by the manager.

The position requires individuals to have flexible availability during the week and weekends.
